The Water Fittings & Materials Directory is
the unique reference of fittings, materials, and appliances
approved for use on the UK Water Supply System by the Water Regulations Advisory Scheme and the Secretary of State at the Department of the Environment Transport and the Regions.
Listing in the directory is optional once WRAS Approval has been achieved
through submission of a satisfactory BS 6920 test report to WRAS.

Materials Directory lists the following :

Water fittings & materials which have been tested and found to comply with the requirements of BS 6920 and WRAS
-
Products and services which have been independantly assessed by WRc, BSI, BBA, and WICS and found to conform to European, National, International Standards and their equivalents
-
Substances, products, and processes approved under Regulation
31 for use in connection with the supply of water for drinking, washing, cooking or food production purposes. (as published by the Drinking Water Inspectorate).
